Required Skills:

Basic Requirements:

-8+ years experience in an enterprise-level network engineering or design role.
-Demonstrated leadership skills.
-Accuracy and attention to detail.
-Excellent troubleshooting and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
-Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
-Operational experience with Cisco enterprise class routers, switches, and firewalls.
-Operational experience with Cisco Unified Communications Suite including Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Unity, Unity Express & IPCC .
-Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSec, HSRP, and SNMP protocols.
-Knowledge of VoIP, SCCP, SIP, H323, G711, G721, G726, and G729 protocols.
-Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, ODR, and OSPF.
-Knowledge of VLANs, subnetting, routing, switching and traffic shaping.
-Knowledge of the OSI model.
-Knowledge of linux operating system a plus, but not required.
-BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
-CCNA certification or higher.

Responsibilities:

The Network Engineer plays a leadership role in the Network Operations group, managing projects and mentoring junior level technical staff and technical support staff. The Network Engineer will be the lead engineer on implementation projects in the company's growing set of technologies. Working with the Manager of Network Operations they will ensures a high level of network availability and customer service.
