- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education and work experience is required

- 7+ years applicable experience

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Database Manager responsible for leading a team of DBAs, providing full life cycle support for distributed database environments. This individual will be primarily responsible for leading the planning and management of the database team's technical and operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing organization.

- Lead Database Architect and team of operationally focused DBAs, supporting multiple DBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, mySQL)

- Set operational goals and project priorities

- Develop and execute strategic plan for database environment growth and maintenance

- Ensure database backups, business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities meet business expectations

- Develop and maintain processes to monitor overall database environment health and performance, including capacity management, system performance, tuning, and storage management

- Manage internal customer relationships to ensure service levels are met and exceeded
