Position: Data Modeler / Architect
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Houston, TX

Consultant must have 8+ Exp. and above...

Primary responsibility for the administration of the logical and physical design of an emerging data warehouse environment.
Experience

Preferably 7+ years of data warehousing environment management and DW architecture development experience.
Excellent communication & presentation skills required.
Experience working with a range of DW architecturein different operating environments.
Good understanding of Informatica ETL, Cognos.
Ability to Conduct user interviews and perform detailed data analysis to identify appropriate data sources, key facts, and dimensions that support the business requirements.
Assist with ETL source-target mappings, data consolidation, and ensure the Data Architecture is applied properly.
Establish and maintain a metadata repository and all associated standards, policies, and processes.
Experience integrating disparate systems into conformed dimensions
Extensive experience designing relational and dimensional data models, deploying and supporting a large, complex data warehouse / data marts.
Ensure consistency, timeliness, data lineage, data quality, security and availability of master data throughout the enterprise.
Establish and enforce data integration / replication / data access standards and best practices.
Promote / ensure reuse of data, models, process and other data integration technologies.
SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS experience a plus.
